What is an Aura?
An aura is the electromagnetic field (like the heat coming from your body) surrounding an object. Some people refer to this field as a bio-energy field.
In truth, this energy field not only goes around you, but moves within your body as well. It is not just the outside of your body that is made of electromagnetic energies, every part of your body and everything you experience is third dimension. Auras vibrate to different color, sound and light frequencies. The color spectrum varies with one's physical, emotional, mental and spiritual states. In short, the aura is an energy field, its our life force. The human aura is an energy field that reflects the subtle life energies within the body. These energies make us what we are and, in turn, are affected by our surroundings and life style. The aura reflects our health, mental activity and emotional state. It also shows disease, often long before the onset of symptoms. One could think of it as an atmosphere around the human body, just as the planet earth has an atmosphere.
Cleaning Your Aura
Energything is energy. Our bodies carry and transmit energy, and it does so through thoughts, motions and intent. Energy, by its very nature is continually moving, becoming congested, and releasing once more to a free-flowing stream. The energy that is around our bodies is a reflection of who we are and our state of well-being on all levels: emotional, physical, mental and spiritual. This field of energy that surrounds the body is called an aura.
Sometimes, energy can become stagnant, disturbed, or "junked up." Our energy systems can be adversely affected by external influences such as electromagnetic radiation, pollution, illness, and negativity. For this reason, strengthing and refreshing the aura can be beneficial, and can make us feel more alert and vital.
Refreshing & Cleansing the Aura
Intention - A powerful way to cleanse your aura is through intention. Doing a simple visualization in which you imagine your aura cleansed and refreshed is very effective.
Take an Epsom Salt Bath - Taking a long bath in Epsom salt is a great way to cleanse your aura. You can also take a shower. Have the water temperature go from as hot as you usually can take it, then to warm and lastly, to cold water until your skin's temperature has lowered to a refreshing level. Make sure that the water rinses over your whole body.
Smudging - Smudging with sage around the body will help refresh your area. SMudgin is the burning of certain herbs to create a cleansing smoke "bath".
Crystals - Moving quarts crystals around your body, as well as carrying them in your pocket or wearing them as a piece of jewelry, will help clan your aura of unwanted energy.
Incense and Aromatherapy - Atomizing essential oils or burning incense helps cleanse the aura, especially the scents sage, sweet grass and frankincense.
Laughter - its true! Laughter helps raise your vibration and cleanse your aura.
Walking - Going for a brisk walk dislodges negative energies and elevates your vibration, outdoors in nature.
Brushing Down - Brushing down your energy with your hands is an easy technique to cleanse your aura. Set your intention to cleanse and refresh your auric field. Starting at the top of your head, and with your hands loose but slightly curved, move your hands from the center of your head outwards, sweeping the energy away from your body. Visualize this old energy around your body moving out of the way to allow fresh, clean, vibrant energy in. Work your way slowly down one side of the body, moving from your head to your neck and shoulders. Sweep the energy away from your chest and torso, then keep your hands moving down, around your legs and to your feet. Repeat the process with the other side of your body. To complete this cleansing ritual, use one hand at a time to sweep away the energy around the other arm, then flick the energy away from your hands (as it you're flicking water off your hands).

The Magical Dzi Beads of Tibet -- Revered Talismans by Svetlana
The legend
tells that dzi is a supernatural gemstone talisman that
originated from Tibet and the Himalayan Mountains approximately 3000 years
ago. The dzi are believed to possess protective, curative, and healing
powers, and to bring good fortune, health and prosperity to their owner.
Tibetan Buddhist texts mention stories of stones (dzi) falling from the
Heaven and that those who obtained those stones would be protected from
misfortunes. Another legend suggests that the dzi developed from magical
bugs that were petrified when touched by humans. Since dzi beads are
believed to bring good fortune to their owners they are very sought after by
wealthy people in Taiwan and Singapore.
Only the authentic
dzi made of genuine agate, carefully etched by Tibetan
artisans following thousands year old techniques and traditions are believed
to possess magical powers. No one really knows their true origins but the
real dzi have patterns of heaven and sacred symbols believed to possess
protective and healing properties, and magical powers. The real dzi have
over 10 minerals from the Himalaya in their make.
Most of the
dzi beads offered here originated at the Za-Shen-Laan-Po Temple
in Tibet. They were made centuries ago and kept at the Temple being
regularly blessed by monks, prayed and meditated around. All of them are
believed to bring luck.
These are
some of the most sought after forms of dzi beads and their brief
typical descriptions:
Nine-eyed
Dzi – the King of Dzi: Nine-fold Merits. High benefits –
compassion, glory, everlasting brightness, fame, dignity, power and
authority, control, reputation, removal of obstacles. A strong protection
bead assisting with high achievements for career and business.
Two-eyed Dzi
– Love: Matrimonial harmony, family bliss and togetherness,
happiness, love, career, success and wisdom. Removal of obstacles and
cleansing. Helps with keeping relationships strong and happy and with
prosperity. Favorite dzi among Tibetans for bring in prosperity and
universal compassion.

Tibetans believe that a dzi always finds its true owner. So, ultimately, we
don’t really choose them. They choose us.
