Marva first developed an interest in the metaphysical sciences as a child when it cama very naturally experiencing "instincts" about her world. Her earliest memory of being aware of these instincts and intuition was when she was about 11, telling her mother that her great-grandmother has passed into spirit. Moments later, the phone call came that Grandma had died that evening.

At 19, Marva traveled to France and had the uncanny feeling that this was not her first trip to this country and the city of Paris. So many cobblestone streets felt familiar as well as the overwhelming feeling of comfort at the Pere Lechaise Cemetery in Montmartre in Paris.

Marva started reading for the public in the mid-1970's when she worked 16 years at the Texas Renaissance Festival in the area known as the Gypsy Camp. This was the beginning of reading for many people from all walks of life, which greatly enhanced her psychic abilities.

In 1991, Marva moved to Los Angeles where she worked for an entertainment PR agency as a publicity assistant and photographer. While living in Los Angeles, Marva read for for various Hollywood stars.

Teaching metaphysical classes started in the late 1970's for Leisure Learning Unlimited in Houston. In addition to LLU, Marva taught classes at the Esoteric Philosophy Center back in the 1980's and continues to teach her ongoing intermediate and advanced classes in astrology, palmistry, and tarot. She stays busy with private consultations, parties, and being an occasional guest psychic on KBXX-FM Radio in Houston, doing live on the air readings.

For over 20 years, Marva Mason has counselled businesses, individuals, and children from all walks of life. Her services include teaching palmistry, tarot, astrology and other psychic sciences, lecturing to groups, private appointments, and entertainment at parties, high school proms, class reunions, corporate employee appreciation function, etc., to sponsoring some of the largest psychic fairs in the Houston area. The most popular is the annual New Year's Day Fair held at the RAMADA Hotel, 7611 I-10 West at Silber, in Houston.
